FutureAg 2025 Conference Preview

Conference Theme: Transformative Farming Efficiency

The FutureAg Conference returns in 2025 with three days of insight, innovation and industry-led conversation, running alongside the FutureAg trade exhibition at Melbourne Royal Showgrounds from 6–8 August.

Complementing the FutureAg trade show, the 2025 Conference will once again deliver a powerful program of sessions led by respected, experienced and future-focused voices from across the sector.

Located upstairs from the expo floor, the FutureAg Conference is designed for farm owners, agribusiness leaders, researchers and entrepreneurs who want to be part of shaping agriculture’s future. Across three themed days, the program tackles the challenges facing modern farming and explores real-world solutions to help you do better, build bigger and work smarter.

From cutting-edge machinery and data-driven technology to energy innovation and sustainable practices, the conference focuses on what’s practical, actionable and profitable.

Expect open debate, farmer-led perspectives, and big ideas from across the sector, grounded in real experience, not empty statements.

People over policy. Stories over statements. Innovation over adversity.

To bring this theme to life, each day of the conference will explore a distinct focus area shaping the future of farming today:

  • Day 1: Innovation
  • Day 2: The Business of Ag
  • Day 3: People Power – bolstering the workforce, building careers, upskilling on farm.

What’s new in 2025?

This year, Stream 2 will take place within the exhibition floor, bringing fast-paced, solution-focused content closer to the action and more accessible than ever before.
