Getting to know innovative solar drive technology for sustainable water pumping

With a heightened awareness of the need for Australia to reduce carbon emissions and im-plement more sustainable technologies, there's no better time than now for the farming and agricultural communities to adopt solar power as a clean energy source for pumping water. Combined with new drive technology that utilises solar power when available and switches to the grid when it's not, continuous water flow is ensured around the clock.

This session will help attendees learn about key features to look for in solar drive technology, such as the ability to operate with both a DC supply from PV solar panels and an AC supply from the grid generator, ensuring 24/7 pumping reliability and maintaining operational con-tinuity for Australian farms.

Why are variable speed drives so important? It is estimated that 23% of the world's industrial motors are equipped with a drive, a figure expected to increase to 26% over the next five years. When added to an existing compressor, pump, or fan motor, a drive can typically re-duce power consumption by 25%.

Learn how solar drives not only boost productivity and efficiency but also support regional economies by lowering energy costs.
