Grain Automate Initiative Brings New Workshop to FutureAg 2025

We’re excited to announce a major addition to the FutureAg 2025 program, with the introduction of the Grain Automate Seminar and Workshop - a half-day event developed specifically for growers looking to implement automation-ready systems on their farms.

This practical workshop is part of the Grain Automate initiative, which will be showcased within the new Grain Automate Alley, powered by SPAA and the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC).

What is Grain Automate?

Grain Automate is a five-year initiative by GRDC, designed to accelerate the uptake of machine automation, autonomy, and digital intelligence technologies by Australian grain growers. Running from 2023 to 2028, the $35 million program is supporting a portfolio of new Research, Development and Extension (RD&E) investments. These are helping to enhance existing GRDC efforts across precision agriculture, digital agronomy, and advanced data analytics.

Making its debut at FutureAg is the new Grain Automate Alley, powered by SPAA and GRDC.

Introducing: Paving the way to Autonomy - Variable Rate Workshop Overview

Hosted by SPAA, this new breakout session is tailored for growers ready to explore variable rate technology, establish on-farm trials, and begin laying the groundwork for autonomous farming systems.
