The University of Western Australia, ranked 1st in Australia and 9th in the world for agricultural sciences, leads innovation in agricultural machinery and technology through its Centre for Engineering Innovation: Agriculture & Ecological Restoration (CEI:AgER). CEI:AgER conducts research and development to engineer solutions across agriculture and ecological restoration. It is also developing training material, with GRDC's Grain Automate, to prepare a future workforce ready to leverage advancing AgTech and invent the necessary technologies.
