Riverine Plains Inc is a not-for-profit, farmer-led organisation dedicated to enhancing the productivity, profitability and sustainability of broadacre farming systems across north-east Victoria and southern New South Wales. For over 20 years, they have worked alongside farmers to drive on-ground outcomes through practical, innovative and locally relevant research, extension and education initiatives. Their mission is to connect farmers with the research, information and networks they need to make informed, confident and resilient decisions. They champion innovation and collaboration in agriculture, empowering farming communities to adapt and thrive through changing seasons and shifting market and climate pressures.

What They Do

Locally-led Research: They deliver on-farm trials and demonstrations to test emerging practices and technologies under real-world farming conditions.
Extension & Adoption: They share evidence-based insights through field days, workshops, webinars and tailored communications to support farmer decision-making.
