As a partner investigator on two Australian Research Council projects, he has been engaging with some of Australia finest research institutes for 15 years. Innovate AG are also the industry partner for the ARC Centre of Excellence ARC Centre of Excellence for Innovations in Peptide and Protein Science. An ARC Discovery grant that aims at developing a platform technology for the efficient design of new crop protection agents based on peptides is a current project that could revolutionise Australia’s approach to pest control development and regulations.
With the product at the heart of Innovate Ag an outcome of the Australian Ag industry Nick believes Innovate Ag are an example of what can be achieved when government research bodies and industry work together and with all the skilled researchers we have here Australia, should be the silicon valley of Agriculture.
