Modify irrigation scheduling in various crops: Costs vs ROI

This session will explore return on investment (ROI) for using Sentek probes to modify irrigation. Fertigation scheduling will be discussed and financial returns will be compared in various cropping situations. 

About Medi:

Medi was raised in a Tea and Rice family-owned farm in Iran and studied Ag-science before migrating to Australia in 2003. He continued his agricultural studies in Adelaide Uni to Masters level, before he joined SA Dep of Agriculture where he worked as an Ag-extension officer with remote Mallee growers on mixed dryland and sheep/cattle farms. In the meantime, Medi also studied Land Management courses, and has been involved in horticulture production. Currently he is a small-scale pomegranate grower, in addition to his involvement with Sentek and soil data monitoring in ANZ. Medi currently works at Sentek as Regional Manager ANZ & ME based in Adelaide, and looks after Sentek clients and business partners in his region. Sentek is an Adelaide based company and Aussie brand that was established in 1991 and manufactures soil data monitoring probes and telemetries, that are exported globally to more than 80 countries.
