Jason hails from the Midwest region of Western Australia, where he cultivated an appreciation for coastal living and its associated pleasures, such as pristine beaches and the art of fishing. His professional journey commenced with the establishment of a mining and construction training enterprise, which operated extensively across remote areas within Western Australia. This endeavour exposed him to the formidable obstacles posed by inadequate infrastructure and connectivity in many remote locales.

Armed with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Edith Cowan University, Jason embarked on a career with NBN Co, where he honed his expertise in the domains of public relations and stakeholder engagement.
